Your location never leaves your device. This is a static web app with no backend: your browser reads your location (or the coordinates you type) and runs the whole search · distance maths, sorting, rendering · locally. No coordinates are sent to any server, and there are no cookies or tracking scripts.
Network traffic is one-way and minimal: the open <podcast:location> dataset is fetched from podcastindex.org and cached in your browser for 24 hours (see Data below), and cover images load directly from each podcast's own host.
A search is written into the page address so you can bookmark or share it · just know the link carries the coordinates you searched from.
